Our Story
Building lives; transforming communities
Dreambuilders centre4change began in 2020 during Covid-19. It has it’s roots
from 2013 when Destiny Centre Church, now Dreambuilders Church Melbourne,
undertook a bold plan to start a local mission to change lives for good.
As well as giving to overseas causes, Dreambuilders Transformations, a campus of
Transformations Program Australia, was started in Melbourne’s west.
The Transformations program is a residential drug and alcohol rehab program.
During the last 12 months we helped and supported 40 individuals and their families in this program.
We look forward to continuing to change lives and transform communities.

During 2019 planning on how to start a day program for women began. We were about
to launch the day program when Covid-19 hit which meant putting the day program on
hold. Not to be beaten our change4life online program for women was born under the
Dreambuilders centre4change umbrella. This program has now been extended to
include a residential option with the opening of "The Sanctuary" our women's house.
We are looking forward to building many more lives with this program.
We now have a day program where men and women of all ages, whose lives are out of control,
can come to Dreambuilders centre4change for healing, recovery and growth,
as well as residential homes for both women and men.
We offer a range of community activities via our
recreational and book club programs along with love and care.
We have fully trained professionals that deliver our Programs along with numerous
volunteers to assist in recovery and healing. Our volunteers include graduates from our
programs who are giving back to the community that saved their lives. We have
partnerships with local doctors, psychologists, counsellors, mediators and health care
providers to ensure that each journey to recovery is personalised.
All the Dreambuilders centre4care programs are faith-based. We are a not-for-profit, fully
tax deductible, registered charity.

Our Vision
To restore lives, restore hope, break chains of addiction, restore family relationships, find self-esteem and identity, experience healing, facilitate behavioral changes, and re-educate the mind through training.
To create employable women and men, healthy husbands, wives and partners, and loving mothers and fathers.

To support our clients back to life by enabling them to flourish, to be heard, to stand strong.
To see them achieve their full potential in their physical health, and the emotional and spiritual areas of their lives.
To reconcile men and women with family and help them back into the community, healthy, working and functional.
To reconcile people to an intimate relationship with God, and to help them find their identity
and their God given purpose for this life.
Our Aim
To equip people to become functional members of society. To live life in freedom.
To give hope, healing and support, and to impart an understanding into their behaviours so they can address areas of their lives that continue to negatively impact them, their families and the community.
To encourage our clients to give back to the community, to help and serve others
